Pure Dental Studio is a brand-new dental office designed by Dr. Girish Bharwani and Dr. Bryan Le. Our office is well equipped with advanced technology to provide patients with the most comfortable experience possible. Here is some of the latest equipment you'll find when you visit Pure Dental Studio.
Imagine being able to see pictures of your teeth in full color! When you do, you can understand right away why your tooth might need a dental crown or filling. Our intraoral camera allows us to show you your teeth and mouth up close, since it is a tiny camera we use to take pictures inside your mouth.
The intraoral camera allows you to make the best decisions about your oral health, because you can see and understand why you need specific treatment procedures.
X-rays are an essential tool that Dr. Bharwani and Dr. Le use to diagnose many dental concerns in their early stages. Digital x-rays allow our dentists to see what's happening inside your mouth so they can monitor your teeth, jawbone, and joints.
Digital x-rays are readily available on the television screens in our treatment rooms so we can discuss any concerns with you right away. Digital x-rays emit significantly less radiation, so they are very safe for adults and children.
If you feel nervous or fearful about visiting the dentist, you are not alone! Millions of Americans also feel this way, and this is why we offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) to help our patients feel more relaxed and at ease during their procedures.
Nitrous oxide is a breathable gas that enters and leaves your system quickly, so it works fast to help you feel calm and then it doesn't interfere with your normal daily activities after your procedure. Our dentists are happy to discuss using nitrous oxide for your dental procedures if you think it would help you receive the dentistry you need more comfortably.
Televisions in Treatment Rooms
The purpose of having televisions in our treatment rooms is twofold. First, we can show you images of your teeth and your x-rays on the screen, which makes it easier to discuss your treatment needs. Next, if you're having a dental procedure, you can watch your favorite programs or movies to help take your mind off your treatment. We also offer wireless headphones to make it comfortable to watch programs.
A panoramic x-ray is an image that gives our dentists a full view of your mouth with one picture. Dr. Bharwani and Dr. Le may use a panoramic x-ray to help plan for orthodontic treatment or to diagnose any concerns with your jaw joint (TMJ).
We would typically only recommend updating this x-ray every five years or so.
